Saying Goodbye to the Year 2013

2013, wow, what a year?
This year has been a good to us and it has been bad to us.
It was the year of recession and financial deprivation, but also the year of many enjoyments with friends and family and other loved ones.

The year 2013 has been a wonderful one for me, it was the year that i found out some more about who i am as a person and learnt some very life fulfilling lessons. 2013 was a journey... so, i wanna say cheers to everyone who has been in love this year, those who lost a love, and those who manage to maintain a love for the year.

Cheers to those who have defended their integrity and fought for their character and good name. Those who have helped someone through a struggle, have managed to make friend or even a stranger smile.
Cheer to the new friends that we managed to make this year and goodbye to those that didn't make it throughout the 365 days.

2013 has been no joke but good friends and even strangers have helped to make the experiences funny.
So, thanks to someone who gave a joke on a bus, a smile in the bank, opened the door to a store.
You have helped to make 2013 a good year, great year, with all the flirty glances, partying with no care for tomorrow, no obligations.

So in 2014 lets keep our smiles bright, our thoughts light, and our intentions right.

Friendship

Friends...
Its a title that some of us take lightly these days. But who really is a friend? and when is it that someone really earns the title of friendship?

Funny enough, i don't really know. I've never been the kind to have many friends.

I had my realest encounters with friendship in high school. Friends that are true, the kind that you don't have to talk to everyday to know that they will always be there for you.
Friends are special, they know just how to make you smile. Then there are the moments when you feel like the word 'friend' isn't enough to describe what you share... so you think of them as sisters and brothers... even a mother.

Friends, the realest of them, tell you when your wrong, but will let you do it anyway to prove they were right.
Friends stay up late and night talking about everything and nothing, not wanting to go to sleep.
Friends are those persons you can be completely crazy with, skype chatting in the same room.
Close friends are even more wonderful than lovers. So its twice the fun when you find someone who is both.

Friendship is a beautiful thing and everyone should have that really special kind of bond with someone. You don't have to live next door to each other, maybe your from different parishes or countries.
But when friends come together it is wonderful to watch the laughter, the joy, the smiles that reach their eyes.
Just in knowing that you have somebody who will always be by your side.

Its a very sad thing, 
I don't know what to do. 
your thinking about her, 
while I'm thinking of you.

I wonder if I cross your mind, 
just for seconds at a time...?
or have you forgotten about me?
'cause we don't even interact socially. 

I miss you a lot.
I'm sorry we didn't work out.
In the end I found I complained a lot
even when I didn't really know what I was complaining about.
